Kathleen McKee Moffit Promoted to Principal

Birmingham, AL – Kathleen McKee Moffit has demonstrated tremendous leadership in all areas of AEA’s business. She has testified in both deposition and at trial as an expert witness. Mrs. Moffit is experienced in providing forensic accounting, lost profits determinations, business valuations and other consulting services to clients in multiple industries including insurance, construction, manufacturing, mining, banking and health care. She has experience in employment related matters, including WARN Act class actions, wrongful termination, defamation and retaliation.  She has experience assisting with Trustee work for both Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy matters.

Mrs. Moffit has assisted attorneys with many phases of the discovery process from case assessment, information requests, developing key word searches, drafting interrogatories, document requests and deposition questions to preparing for trial.

Additionally, Mrs. Moffit is heavily involved in the AEA Group’s practice development process, recruiting process, new-hire training program and mentoring program. Prior to joining AEA Group, Mrs. Moffit interned in the Risk Management Department at Protective Life Insurance Company.
